Our interview process not only determines whether clients are truly in need, but also allows us to refer them to job agencies and other organizations in an effort to “help them help themselves.”

Our Vision

HeartLand Hands, Inc. is reaching out to the community by providing emergency food assistance to residents of DeSoto County who are having difficulty providing food for their family.

HeartLand Hands, Inc. is one of the largest food pantries in DeSoto County. The pantry is stocked with canned goods, staple goods, wipes, cleaning supplies, hygiene items  and many other grocery items. These supplies are handed out by volunteers to those who are in need. All food distributed is free.

Heartland Hands, Inc. is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am –1pm. We also adopt county school’s schedule during inclement weather.

**New applications and re-evaluations must be seen before 12:30pm.
